What Causes Sharp Pain In The Sternum Area?

Question: I have been experiencing sharp pain at the point where left and right chest areas meet i.e. center of the chest.
I used to experience it earlier post hard chest workout and would subside on its own.
However I haven't been to gym for last ten days and pain is not subsiding either. I experience it mainly when getting up from bed, or whenever the chest muscles come into play.

Thanks for posting the query,

The pain could be due to muscle spasm or gastritis.

I suggest you not to go for gym or do any other physical excercise and take TAB.NUCOXIA MR one tablet twice a day for 10 days and TAB. RABEKIND DSR two times a day for 5 days.

I would like to confirm that I do no have regurgitation.

However, gas formation and expulsion is a continuous process that I have been experiencing for more than 15 years.

As suggested, I would refrain from workout and will consume drugs prescribed by you.

Whilst ordering these medicines online, I came to know that NOCOXIA and RABEKIND are not OTC medicines.

Therefore, I was wondering if you can provide a formal prescription of these medicines ?
