Brief Answer:
You need an in office consultation with a Cardiologist.

Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

When a person has got a consistently high blood pressure, or there is some underlying cardiac issue, it leads to increased pooling of the blood in dependant parts of the body e.g in lower extremities (legs, ankles, feet). It also leads to fluid accumulation in lungs. It causes pain in chest, sometimes shortness of breath. Pain in chest may also be due to muscular spasms, infection in lungs covering pleura or others.

What you have to do is fix an appointment with a cardiologist and get a complete physical examination and cardiac evaluation including blood pressure monitoring. He will do an EKG, Chest XRay, exercise stress test and echocardiography and will diagnose the reason of the pain and lower legs swellings.

Take Ibuprofen 800 mg twice daily until you get an appointment to alleviate the pain to some extent. Your physician may prescribe you a water pill HCTZ 12.5mg once daily by mouth if you are hypertensive and no contraindication is there.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns. I will be happy to get back to you shortly. If satisfied here, please give a five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.

Regards!
