Brief Answer:
Teeth are appearing fine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for the query..

I have examined your x rays and I do not see any decay in your molar teeth..
Nor there is any specific bone loss..
However acute gum infection can cause pain that is not evident in x ray..
Can you please tell me that is the pain always present or does it occurs when you chew?
-Are your molar teeth loose or firm?
-Do you have any teeth grinding or clenching habit?
-Do you feel pain when you bite your teeth together?
-Do you experience any gum bleeding?
-As you visited the doctor, he must have also done a clinical examination, so what did he tell you to get done?
- Are you taking any antibiotics or just painkillers?

Please revert back with answers..

Regards..

Brief Answer:
Go for deep scaling.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Well, you should go for deep scaling as from these x rays I do not see too much bone loss.
As far as flap surgery is concerned, I would like you to send me images of your teeth including gums so that I can check if there is recession or not and can advise you that you should go for flap surgery or not..

Hope this helps..
