What Causes Severe Spitting?
Question: Hello doctor, have been spitting, don't know what is wrong with me. please advice.

I am sorry to hear that you are bothered by extra saliva and this is requiring you to spit often. This is called hypersalivation and we do not know why that happens. I would recommend that you drink plenty of fluids to help reduce the risk of dehydration from spitting so often. You could also ask your medical provider for a medication called atrovent which will dry up your salivation problem
