Question: After using efudix for 10 days, I developed really bad scrotum pain, due to raw patches. What is the best treatment? XXXXXXX Budd

I can understand your concern.
The raw patches are the result of irritant reaction to efudix.
In such cases I recommend my patients to wash the area with plain water only, avoid using soap and continue with diprobase cream. In addition I suggest them to apply corticosteroid antibiotic combination cream on the affected areas twice daily to hasten the resolution of the raw areas.
