What Causes Severe Rectal Cramps Near The Tailbone Area?

Question: Recently I had a severe cramp which seemed to be inside my rectal area near my tail bone.
It hurt terribly but after 10 min or so the hurt subsided. I had this similar cramp about 4 months ago.
Please advise
