What Causes Severe Pressure In The Upper Feet?

default
Posted on Tue, 5 Sep 2017
Question: I have pressure on my upper feet right at the intersection of the foot and the leg. Neuro Diagnostic labs diagnosed it as paresthesia of the skin. Your WebMd shows sciatica and or pelvic dysfunction as a possible cause. I have been diagnosed with pelvic dysfunction and when I started having pelvic problems, the pressure in the upper foot manifested itself at the same time. Based on the possible causes, this seems the most likely. I am being treated for the pelvis issues now and this looks like the foot issue could improve with the pelvic therapy. Do you have an opinion on this subject?

I do not have a report. My Colorectal Surgeon recommended a Physical Therapist who specializes in pelvic spasm. The therapist is very specialized and her analysis is that I have Levitor Ani or rectal spasm. In addition to tightness and knots in my gluteus, the rectum is spasming and I do get pain in down my legs below the glutes (button). Because the foot and rectal spasming started simultaneously, and WebMD mentions pelvis problems as a possible connection, I thought this could be it. If the condition is proximal, then it seems a coincidence.

If it is proximal as you believe, what is the best course of action to regenerate the nerves?

compression over the Plantar nerve at above levels which may include any
point in the whole leg .

* Suggestions for better regeneration of nerves

- Regular application of heating pad 3 times a day .
- Mobilisation with regular walking , light rotatory movements at home
particularly involving ankle joint .

- Do not use tight shoes .
- Keep blood sugar , body weight under control .
- Balanced nutritious diet .
- Additional intake of vitamin B12 , trace elements , magnesium help a lot .
- No smoking , alcohol .

- Lavender therapy is new era of emerging aroma therapy .
- Assisted physiotherapy with expert physiotherapist will aid in the recovery
through UV rays or wax bath .

Hope this will help you for sure .
