Brief Answer:
Hip Osteoarthritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

Most likely, your having Osteoarthritis of the hip.

Ask about the causes of the pain.

Ask about the required investigations to confirm the cause of the pain, the various treatment options available to you.

This could be compounded by possible degenerative labral cartilage tear as well.

Do get an MRI of the hip to confirm. If there is significant arthritis, you may need a hip replacement. If not significant then steroid injections with oral medications can help with physiotherapy.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow-ups.
