What Causes Severe Pain In Shin With Bruising?

Question: For the last week, I have had severe pain in my shins. Color on both shins and kneecaps appears like black & blue bruising. This is NOT from heavy exercise or walking.

Pain and bruising over both shin and knee seems to be due to bleeding in the area.

It could be due to the anticoagulant drug warfin which you are taking already.

I suggest you to consult your doctor for those adjustment of this drug.

Till the time do icing over the area and take anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen for pain and inflammation.
