What Causes Severe Pain In Legs?

default
Posted on Wed, 18 May 2016
Question: I had shingles started 12/22/2015 lasted until almost the end of January. Then last week I started getting a
severe pain midway between my knee and my foot. Only at night. The pain was just as severe as the shingle pain had been. Late in the afternoon the pain starts to come back, it gets really bad and eventually goes from
my lower leg all the way up to my crotch. I have been having to take hydrocodin to get any sleep at all. At first I thought it might be a blood clot, saw a local PA she said no, and gave me naproxen, that does not even touch it. After I get up and walk around for an hour or so the pain pretty much goes away. Then later in the evening it comes back. Is the shingles coming back just in a different place -no blisters- I still worry about a blood clot. Any help would be appreciated.
