Brief Answer:
Get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are having pleuritic chest pain. Chest pain on coughing, deep breathing, sneezing is characteristic feature of pleuritic pain. And most common cause for this is lung infection.
So get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection.
You may need antibiotic along with other drugs.
Broad spectrum antibiotic like levofloxacin or azithromycin once a day is advisable.
Please let me know if you are smoker.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Thanks Dr. Bhavsar.
No, I am not a smoker or drinker. Also I failed to mention that the coughs are dry along with nasal stuffiness and throat issues. The smallest ragrances such as perfums, air freshners and smoke takes my breath away.
You were helpfull and I will have a chest x-ray done.My mother smokes heavily and we are a duo. I was concern about that when it was taking longer to recover from what I considered to be just my sinus/allergy irrated from the lovely trees and flowers blooming. Thank You

Brief Answer:
Please get done chest x ray.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are exposed to secondary smoke (from your mother). This is equally harmful as direct smoking.
So another possibility in your case is bronchitis.
So first get done chest x ray to rule lung infection.
If this is normal then get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out bronchitis.
Hope I have solved your query.
