Question: About 25 minutes ago sitting in my chair my upper left arm started to hurt really bad and my left fingers are tingling
Answered by Dr. Erion Spaho 36 minutes later
Brief Answer:

Probably improper arm position.

Detailed Answer:

Most likely your symptoms are caused by the improper position of your arm that may cause impairment of the blood flow or temporary compression of the nerve (ulnar nerve for example in the cubital canal ).

If the symptoms regressed after changing the position, you have nothing to worry about.

If these symptoms persist or repeat for no apparent reason, then I'd suggest getting evaluated by your primary care Doctor about conditions such as peripheral vascular disease, nerve compression, etc.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
