What causes severe lower abdominal pain?

Question: Last week I had tremendous pain in my lower abdomen but it went away in about an hour. Today, I noticed a bruise on my stomach right below my belly button

To recapitulate: Female/44 - severe pain in lower abdomen last week - went away in an hour - noticed a bruise below belly button today - seen the photo

If this bleeding is without any obvious trauma or injury you have to go for the blood tests: the routine and for coagulation profile like bleeding time, clotting time, prothrombine time, platelets and so on.

If there is a history of trauma of whatsoever nature, this will settle with time.
Please tell me if there are any other symptoms you have.

There was no trauma to the area and there's no pain on the bruise either. Should I go to urgent care or can this wait until I can get an appointment with my dr.?
