Brief Answer:
Tinea pedis and its management

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic,

I have reviewed the attached photographs and it seems to be tinea pedis which is a fungal infection of the foot.

If I was her treating doctor I would recommend her to take capsule Itraconazole 200 mg once daily for 2 -3 weeks and apply Sertaconazole cream on the affected areas twice daily.

For itching, she can take antihistaminic like tablet levocetirizine 5 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.

These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

Besides this keep the area as dry as possible, wear open footwear, stay in a cool airy environment, avoid sharing of soap, towel, and socks.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
Dr Asmeet
