Brief Answer:
Postural tachycardia syndrome;to rule out other cardiac issues as following

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX M.Odlum,

After reviewing your medical history, I am happy to meet a person of 85 years old that is not having any health problem, neither is taking any medication; but just omega3 &CoEnzymeQ 10 daily.

With regards to your actual health problem:
- racing heart when standing or walking
- slowing down of heart rates when sit or lay down

Racing heart when standing might be related to postural tachycardia syndrome /orthostatic hypotension.

If I was your caring doctor would advise to run a complete cardiac check up:
- ECG
- echocardiograme
- Holter monitoring
- Doppler of neck/abdominal aorta and of legs'blood vessels

to evaluate the status of your heart and blood vessels.
Do not forget to monitor your blood pressure (bp) and record the results especially when you feel your heart racing.

A complete blood count together with biochemistry tests are also advised to rule out anemia and electrolytes imbalance respectively.

For the moment, I advise to:
- keep well hydrated: drink more water and juice
- avoid standing for long time

Hope it answered to your queries!
