Brief Answer:
Looks like Tension headache.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the details.

I have gone through the details and feel that you might be suffering tension headache which is commonly seen in females due to stress. It can be treated with medications and following stress free exercises like yoga and meditation. Please see a Neurologist for examination and prescription of medications.

In the meanwhile following these measures would help you:
1. While working on laptop, make sure you look away from the screen every 10 to 15 mins to a distant site. This will help in exercise of your eyes and do go for frequent eye checkup, to know the power of the eyes and change in power of the glasses, if required.
2. Take break from your work frequently for 10 mins every hour.
3. During headache, go to a calm place and relax for few mins.
4. Caffeinated coffee or tea helps in reducing the swelling of the blood vessels and hence headache. You can take a cup in between.
5. Follow routine physical exercises, yoga or meditation.

Hope this answers your query. If any further clarifications, will be happy to help you.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Consult a neurologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the follow up.

The symptoms of severe headache not relieving on regular pain killers might be due to its chronicity(you had since few years). In such conditions specific drugs like triptans or opiates would be required to treat it which needs to be prescribed.

So, Consult a Neurologist for examination and prescription, follow measures to relieve stress.

Hope this answers your query.

Hi,

Thanks for the followup.

I doubt that the headache is due to side effects of the medications you have mentioned as you have this since years on and off.

So, please see a neurologist for evaluation and treatment accordingly.
