Brief Answer:
Treatment depends on the cause of hair loss

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
There are many causes of hair loss and treatment depends on the cause.
The most common causes encountered are male pattern baldness, fevers like typhoid and malaria, past history of accidents and surgery, stress, chronic diseases, certain medications, thyroid disorders and anaemia.
I would recommend you to get the following tests done to rule out anemia and thyroid disorders.
The tests are haemoglobin, serum ferritin levels and thyroid function tests.
Moreover upload the photographs of the scalp so that I can ascertain the pattern of your hair loss and can guide you accordingly.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
