Brief Answer:

Is it blood in stool or blood on the tissue paper?

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I will like to know whether you found blood in stool or on the tissue paper.

Also, did you get constipated prior to this episode or have your stools been normal.

Finally, have you ever had a colonoscopy?

Let me hear from you and guidance would be dependent on this. Remember, there is no urgency at this time and I will like to gather more facts before concluding and making recommendations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

I would feel like I have to go, a little cramping and a little discharge and a little blood would be in the toilet. I did go out with friends and drink last night, I also had pizza and I ate ice cream after drinking when I got home. My stools have been normal. My stomach was cramping badly last night and I had diarrhea, but this morning my stomach still was cramping a little and I would have a few episodes of discharge and a little blood. I have never had a colonoscopy.

Brief Answer:

Observe and get your colonoscopy done too!

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

At 60 with blood in stool and no previous colonoscopy, I will like to take advantage of the the opportunity and get a screening colonoscopy.

As this will address both the acute worries and serve as a preventive procedure for the next 5-10 years, if nothing wrong is identified.

Hope I have answered your query.
