Brief Answer:
do you have fever?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

for a healthy 28-years old individual (you haven't mentioned any medical history) the most likely cause is an infection. In most cases viral infections may cause pain all over the body. Such infections are commonly associated with fever. Paracetamol (panadol) helps but the symptoms come and go with the fever. If this is your case then a doctor should examine you to determine the cause of this infection and provide specific treatment.

Otherwise more investigation might be required. There are various causes of diffuse body pain like a variety of autoimmune and malignant disorders or metabolic disorders like rhabdomyolysis. I'm not suggesting that you have any of them. I'm just saying that there is not enough information to diagnose anything as diffuse body pain is a very broad symptom and many disorders may cause it.

So in conclusion, the most likely cause is an infection. Panadol should help. The right dosage is 500mg every 3-4 hours or 1000mg every 6-8 hours (unless contraindicated). A doctor should always assess patients with unexplained symptoms until the diagnosis is found.

I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!

Brief Answer:
an infection is likely

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the additional info. Throat discomfort with body aches usually means infection. Paracetamol should serve you well. As with all drugs paracetamol has to be used according to instructions (see my previous answer).

If you develop fever or you don't get better within a couple of days then a doctor should examine you.

Best wishes!
