What Causes Sensitive Nipples And Acne While On HRT?

Question: I am a 62 year old woman who had a full hysterectomy nearly 30 years ago. I have been on HRT since the operation. I am currently taking 10mg a day of DHEA and .625/1.25Tb of Estrog/Methyl HS. Lately I have noticed that my breasts (nipples) are unusually sensitive and that I am also developing acne on my face along with heavier hair growth on my right underarm (only)! I also have felt a bit more agitated and anxious. I just received the results of a blood test showing a number of 15.2 for estrogen and 3 for testosterone. Do I need new medication, and if so, what? I understand your concerns.

At your age body response is different on different days for hormones like HRT.

Increasing the dose might help but it will again be temporary therapy.

Hence I suggest you can consider stopping the HRT altogether.
