Brief Answer:
AS BELOW

Detailed Answer:
Can you please tell me your age and whether you are male / female ?
The sensation of pins and needles in the foot is generally due to diabetes, do you have diabetes, or have your blood sugars been lately checked ?
If the pain has not gone down, inspite of taking a painkiller, you can repeat the painkiller ( take Combiflam or paracetamol containing OTC painkiller ).
Have you had a sprain or injury.
Try and bandage your foot using Elastocrepe, apply some ice, and take some rest.
Alternatively a hot water bottle can be used.
There could be some damage to the nerves due to infection or injury which can lead to such sensation.
Deficiency of b complex vitamins can produce such symptoms.
Warts , corns or ingrown toe nails should be ruled out.
If the pain is interfering with your normal activity, please visit the ER for a thorough evaluation and treatment accordingly.
Take care.
