What Causes Scab On Right Breast?

default
Posted on Mon, 31 Aug 2015
Question: Hi,

I have a weird spot on my right breast that is worrying me. it started out looking like a pimple, but it got bigger and scabbed over. I picked the scab off and nothing bled, it oozed pus and there is white and red stuff in the inside. I have never had anything like this before. Should I be worried? Should I go see my family doctor?

Brief Answer:
Medicines as suggested and excision for cure and to get biopsy report.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and the picture.
Read and understood your history and seen the clear picture.
This lesion looks like an infected sebaceous cyst and you need to see your Family Physician, get started on proper antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines (you need a prescription) and get a reference for a General Surgeon to get this removed for getting the disease out and to get a proper histo-pathology diagnosis.

I hope this answers your query and help you to et a proper diagnosis and cure.
