Question: My husband has a terrible roughness at the top of his butt crack. If feels like alligator skin and is very painful. What can he do?

Perhaps he has Lichen sclerosis chronicus (LSC) which presents as s dry, scaly, hyperkeratotic and hyperpigmented, thickened skin/ plaque. It is itchy and extreme scratching may lead to pain.
