But this ringing sound is not painful. Also I am experiencing this more while walking and suddenly while sitting. Could you please advise if this is common during pregnancy.

Brief Answer:
Tinnitus is quite common during pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Ringing sounds in the ear or tinnitus is quite common during pregnancy. Physiological and hormonal changes can bring about the onset of tinnitus. In most cases, it will stop after a short time of baby delivery. Mental stress and high blood pressure drug can increase severity.

Stress should be reduced and you can listen mp3 music to combat this problem. In case of more severity, you can consult with your local ENT doctor for better management. You should avoid alcohol, smoking, coffee, salt, sugar, diet soda drink, external loud noise etc. You should take adequate bed rest to get relief of back pain and use muscle relaxant gel.

Hope, it helps for you. Good luck and take care.

Regards,
