What Causes Right Sided Abdominal Pain?

Question: My sons friend has this pain on the right side of his stomach. His pain used to be every so often but now its every day. He hasn't had a bowel movement for about 2 weeks. He eats very little. He is always in pain. He has seen diffent Doctors but they just give him medicine and that's it. The medicine doesn't work. To me their just playing a guessing game. His stomach is bloated all the time. They said it was his gall bladder but I don't think that has anything to do with him not being able to have a bowel mentment. I wish they would give him a MRI. Please reply back. Whatever he has its getting worse. I hope its not cancer. My name is XXXXXXX and I live in NM.

I read carefully all his concerns and I can say as follows:
1. You are reporting that he has two weeks without bowel movement and abdominal pain It means that probably he has a large bowel issues like tumor.
2.This is why to my opinion he need to be examined with :
- colonoscopy
- MRI/ Ct scan of abdomen
Please talk with his parents because he need immediately medical attention .
Meantime he can use stool softener and plenty of water to avoid constipation.
