Question: I am a 31 year old female. when I woke up 2
days ago, my second toe was red and swollen. wasn't bruised. now it is still red, not as swollen, but almost looks bumpy. also cracks when I walk but it is not painful. is it broken?

It's looking like a fungal infection of nail known as paronychia.

It's a mild infection hence you don't have pain.

I treat such cases with a combination of oral and topical antifungal agents like Tablet Fluconazole and Clotrimazole cream.

These are safe and effective but should not be used in pregnancy.
