I need more information -please get back to me with answers to my questions

Detailed Answer:
Hi.... I understand your concern. I will gladly suggest you the eye drops. But before suggesting I need more information. Please get back to me with answers to my questions.

Questions -
1. Was there any fever or cough and cold before the eyes became red?

2. Are the eyes itchy and is she rubbing the eyes a lot?

3. Is there any whitish or purulent discharge from the eyes?

4. Anybody else in the family or neighbors have this problem currently?

5. Can you upload the image of the eyes so that it will be more lucid to me. Eye conditions are best diagnosed only after seeing directly. I suggest you to upload photographs of the same on this website, so that I can guide you scientifically.

Brief Answer:
Looks lke viral conjunctivitis - nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi... I understand your concern. I have gone through your answers and seen the image. This looks like viral conjunctivitis.

As of now no eye drops are required. Just frequent washing of the eyes with fresh clean room temperature will do.

But the if the redness increases or if the whitish discharge from the eyes increases, then I suggest you use Ciplox eye drops 1 drop in each eye 6th hourly for 5 days.

But this is a prescription drug and you will need one for it.

I wish your kid a speedy recovery. If you need any future medical consultation and suggestions, I will be glad to help. You can approach me at the following link.
