Question: I have had eye infection; and used antibiotica drops and the eye become white and healthy again. But when I sit to long looking to my pc screen my left eye always become red in the same spot ? Is this normal. And how does my eyes look ? . And what you see on television is not the real truth? Eyes are not suppose to be very white around every corner ? Or what?

Brief Answer:
Infllamation

Detailed Answer:
My Dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
I have gone through your history and photographs and apparently you have what what we label as post infection syndrome. There is some infllammation which is lingering and becomes manifest when eye undergoes some strain.
Ideal tt for this condetion is steroid drops like Betnesol N eye drops put in 3times a day and one is fine in a few days and the drops are tapered off,but the brochure attached with the eye drop lists such a huge list of side effects that we would always suggest something milder as visine eye drops which is a local decongestent and has no side effect even in long term use.
Locla lubricating drops can always be used for longer period of time for long time pc exposure.

My Dear,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Chloremphenicol is not likely to help as you do not have active infection now.
Decongestent and anti infllamatory drops and lubricant drops will be useful to you. It will heal over time.
