What Causes Red Rashes On Penile Glans?
Question: I got a red rash on my glans after 10 days having a blow job. Initially I got blood from my glances while having blowjob which turned out to be two red blotches. After Couple l days those two blotches got brusted by themselves and 10 days later a red spot occurred on that area which is smooth while compared to other part of glans. I'm afraid if it is herpes? Or something else. Do I need to have an HIV test or what is the solution.

Hello Doctor, Thanks for the quick turn around. So far I havent experienced any pain or itch. Im not sure if the injury is due to act. Im sure the blood came from the glans not from the pee hole. Because I saw blood around the glans and after cleaning I saw two red blotches which didnt hurt either. But they got brusted by themsleves after couple of days. After that I cleaned my glans everyday with bodywash. Now I feel all my glanes are white as dryskin except the part which turned into red feels soft.

Based on the information, raw area like that after 10 days of oral sex are not likely to be indicative of an STD.
It might be mild balanitis( inflammation of Glans penis), which you might be due to irritation or mild injury during the act.
Presently I would suggest you to keep the area clean, wash it with cool water and with mild soap like dermadew. Tap it dry with towel. You can apply neosporin ointment for 5 days. And also avoid sex for a week. You should be fine with this.
