Brief Answer:
need antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using healthcaremagic,

Sores in nostrils that ooze pus is a condition called vestibulitis.

Recurrent painful sores in nostrils are very common among diabetics in whom the sugards are very uncontrolled.

Since you have been having this problem for a month, you definitely need to get your sugards checked immediately.

You need a course of antibiotics preferably of the penicillin group.
You also need an ointment for application inside your nostrils. Mupirocin is the preferred ointment.

Also it is important not to pick the nose and absolutely avoid pinching or squeezing the sores.

Talk to your doctor for all of the above,

Regards,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi.

Brief Answer:
Blood sugars

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Sorry, I have misspelt . It is sugars and not sugards.
You have to get your blood sugars tested.

Dry mouth does not occur with infection of nose. Drink lots of water and keep yourself well hydrated.

You are probably experiencing burning around the nose due to infection and mistaking it for sweating.

Could this be consistent with carninoma small cell of nostrals

Spay last Friday for dryness. Said if no better 10 days go back. Not diabetic as had some samples put in little while ago. Do you think this will clear? Sorry to keep adding stuff but for last week my temp has not shifted from between 37-37.5 and ears sometimes burn

Brief Answer:
not cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It is very unlikely that it is cancer.
Apply the bactroban ointment 2 times every day for a month.
It will clear.
If it does not clear then you will need a course of antibiotics.

Hello,
There are many causes for sores on the palate.
They could be canker sores, cold sores, vitamin deficiency, viral infections, thrush, systemic diseases.
Only examination will give diagnosis.
Till then you can apply oral creams that contain amlexanox and benzocaine as active ingredients 2-3 times daily. It will speed up recovery and reduce pain.

Brief Answer:
not cancer it is infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam,
I am sorry for so much delay , I have been unwell myself.

It looks like there may be an abscess in your nose that is giving rise to the pressure in the roof of your mouth. Abscess is a collection of pus.

Untreated vestibulitis can produce abscess in the nose.

The antibiotic co-amoxiclav is the most appropriate antibiotic.
Take the antibiotic without fail and please meet an ENT as soon as possible.

The weeping left eye is because the duct that drains the tears opens in the nose and in you it is blocked.

See an ENT NOW...

Dr Rajkishori Godhi.

Brief Answer:
rule out underlying condition

Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam,

Since you are getting recurrent infections it is possible that the infection has not been completely eradicated. You should apply T Bact ointment continuously for atleast one month even if you have no symptoms.

Also some underlying conditions causing immune deficiency like Diabetes should be ruled out.
Please talk to your doctor about it.

Do not keep fingering your nose , it promotes infection.

Regards,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi.
