Question: I have been getting recurrent hot flushes for want of a better word I start to burn up and sweat no matter where I am for example at work driving the car or in bed. I also often feel nauseated when these episodes occur. I am 73 years old and have hypertension which is controlled by medication. This symptom has been occurring over several years and doesn't seem to lessen.

Brief Answer:
Hormone replacement therapy required

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. You symptoms are likely to be due to hormone deprivation. This is common in post menopausal females. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) would help in resolving your problems. You would need to get in touch with your gynecologist for the same.

Let me know if I could be of further assistance.

Regards
