Brief Answer: Detailed below. Detailed Answer: Hello! Thank you for the query. It is not a normal thing for such infection to last a month. With good diagnose and proper treatment it should be gone in a week. If it is hardly treatable, some reasons other than bacteria should be considered. Diabetes is a very often reason of recurring infections. As you have a uterine cancer history, bladder narrowing or cancer recurrence should be also checked. I suggest you to: - have urine analysis and urine culture test (the treatment should be based on the antibiotics sensitivity which can be established with urine culture) - check you blood sugar level - increase mineral water intake (2 liters a day) and start probiotic supplementation - consult your gynecologist to see if there is no cancer again - consult urologist and consider cystoscopy Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions. Regards.
