What Causes Rectal Pain During Defecation?

default
Posted on Wed, 12 Oct 2016
Question: For the past 4 days I have rectal pain in the morning while stool passes this happened after severe constipation before 4 days. It seems like rectal fissures. Now I avoid spicy food, wheat items and adding more veggies, fruits and nuts in my food.
The pain is little less day by day but there is still pain while the stool is passing and burning sensation for an hour in the anal area. The stool is soft and not hard so stool passes smoothly.
I need your medical advise Sir.

Brief Answer:
Might be anal fissure.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
Based on the information I feel it might be anal fissure, but needs to be examined to confirm.
I would suggest you for dietary modification to help it heal. Which you have started.

Increasing your daily intake of fiber by including plenty of high-fiber foods in your diet, such as fruit, vegetables and whole grains. Avoid spicy food alcohol and smoking if you do.

Avoiding dehydration by drinking plenty of water. Exercise regularly. Do not delaying going to the toilet when you feel the urge. If you use wet wipes, avoiding products that contain fragrance or alcohol as this could lead to discomfort or itching – if you use toilet paper, use a soft brand and avoid wiping too hard. Sitz bath -- soaking your bottom in a warm bath several times a day, particularly after a bowel movement, to relax the muscles in your anus. See to it that you do not strain to pass the stool. You can also apply local anaesthetic cream like smuth to the local area before dedication.
This measures should be beneficial.

This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
Hope this helps
Take care
