What Causes Rashes On The Body?

I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
I have reviewed the attached photograph and it seems to be maculopapular rash.
It can be either due to viral infection or a drug induced rash.
I need to ask you few questions:
Are palms or soles affected?
Is she having any complaints like burning or itching on the rash?
Apart from calpol which medicines has she taken for fever?
Was the fever associated with sore throat, bodyaches, headache, cough, cold, vomiting or loose motions?
Kindly revert with the answers.

No there was no vomiting, loose motion, cough or cold. She has slight body ache and
now she is complaining of knew pain.
There is no burning or itching.
Small hives were seen now there are gone and now what we have is rashes.
Not that much seen in palms or in soles.
She took following tablets.
1.Calpol 650
2.Monocef-o 200
3.Rablet-D
4.Fourts B
5.Alerid
She was complaining for severe headache and she was given following tablets
etoshine 60mg
tryptomer.
now she is complaining of knew pain.
There is no burning or itching.

Hi
According to your complaints it seems to be a case of viral exanthem more than drug rash but still to be on a safer side kindly change the antibiotic monocef o and rablet D as drug reactions are common with these medicines.
Viral exanthem usually resolves in 5-10 days time.
I would recommend you to apply calamine lotion on the affected areas twice daily and take tablet levocetrizine 5 mg once daily at bedtime for 5-7 days.
This will resolve the rash.
