Brief Answer:
? Acute urticaria

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to healthcare magic.

I understand from your query that you are having some rashes on your body of 1 day duration.

Levocetrizine is a drug usually given for rashes and allergies. You have not mentioned why you took that in the first place. It is extremely rare for Levocetrizine itself to cause allergies.

Sudden onset of rashes could be due to a type of allergy called urticaria. This presents with sudden onset of raised, blotchy rashes on the body which stay for a few hours and then disappear to re appear elsewhere.
This could occur due to ingestion of some new food item, new medications, infections like sore throat or dental caries or even worm infestation. In many cases, it is not possible to find out an exact cause.

I suggest you to take an antihistamine like Fexofenadine 180 mg twice a day for about 5 days.

If you have noticed any triggers like the one I have mentioned earlier, I would suggest you to eliminate it.

I would like to inform you that you have a feature to upload the images by yourself at the right side of the query page. You could utilize that if you want to show me the rashes for more accurate assessment.. You can also send the image as attachment to YYYY@YYYY , with the subject as 'Attn: Dr. Johny Chacko'.

Hope this helps you.

Take care.

Dr. Johny Chacko
