Brief Answer:
Pulse rate increase by ten after sneezing, due to anxiety is normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Shoost43,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
The normal pulse rate is in the range of 60 to 100 per minute. Mild elevation and reduction in response to stress, physical or mental is acceptable. This often returns to normal in a few minutes.

Since you report increase in pulse rate by 10 after sneezing only, this might be a reflex action to the sneeze itself and not something to get worried about.

In general many factors can temporarily influence the pulse rate and considered to be normal. This includes emotions and as you have mentioned about your OCD and anxiety, that may cause the change in pulse rate for a short duration.

It is important to know your resting pulse rate. A number more or less than the limits defined by the above range persisting for a longer duration needs to evaluated clinically.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
