Question: Hello,
My daughter was born two monthes ago. She got BCG vaccination. Today, pus is coming out, is it normal?

Thanks for your query.

Sometime pus may develop in the small bump after BCG vaccination. It is ok. Dod let me know duration since vaccination.
Most probably baby has already developed the immunity. We can treat it as any other infected wound.
Can apply either polysporin, bandaid or betadine etc. If this does not help, then can apply local antibiotics. If this also does not help then a short course of antibiotic may be taken. Avoid water coming in contact with it.
