Brief Answer:
mild to moderate infection; antibiotics will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I understand your concern.
You have 8-10 pus cells in your semen report which indicates mild to moderate infection. But this is not of much worry as it can be taken care of with antibiotics and some investigations.
Whereas, fishy odour in semen is quite normal. Semen mostly has a mix of fishy and chlorine like odour.
In patients with such complaints, I generally prescribe the following-

Avoidance of sexual exposure for few days.
Maintaining proper genital hygiene.
Have healthy food and lots of water orally.
Antibiotics like doxycycline are very helpful.
Get a semen culture and sensitivity to assess the organism; accordingly antibiotics can be changed later if required.

You can consult these with your treating or family doctor and get them prescribed.

Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Follow as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Sorry for the late reply.
I have gone through your reports.
It is more or less normal except that the sperm motility is reduced than normal as well as there is evidence of infection.

I have already advised you regarding control of infection.
Now, the decreased sperm motility can be due to environmental factors like excess heat, high pollution etc, lifestyle like smoking, alcohol, obesity, stress, irregular spicy fatty meals etc, and also due to infection.
Hence, all these have to be controlled.
Take food at regular intervals, healthy diet rich in vegetables and lots of water, avoid smoking, alcohol, fatty food etc, relax your mind, and take control of the infection.
You can take antioxidants like vitamin E and coenzyme q. These are very effective in treating sperm abnormalities.
You can also consult an infertility specialist.

Hope this was helpful.
Regards.
