Brief Answer:
Fluid intake needs to be maximized.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query. The present situation concerns me. Most often children suffer from cold due to certain viral infections. But the cold hands and feet is a sign of a vascular collapse and calls for medical attention. He needs to be given plenty of fluids to drink and needs to be taken to a doctor for proper examination. Based on the findings the doctor would be able to determine if intravenous fluid therapy would be essential. He needs to be otherwise kept warm. Blood tests (blood counts) will help in excluding a bacterial infection as a possible cause. Since the antibiotics have already been started the dose should be completed.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
