Brief Answer:
Hypothyroidism is associated with menorrhagia

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,

From your description, since you are on Thyroxine 100mg you are treated for hypothyroidism. It is an usual symptom to have abnormal uterine bleeding esp, prolonged menstrual bleeding.

I would suggest you to consult with an OBGYN in your area if you have the following associated symptoms:

- passage of clots

- has to change 3-4 sanitary pads in night

- fatigue, tiredness all the time

- greater pain during the periods than normal

They would advise you to start on oral progestins. Medicines containing Tranexamic acid may be prescribed to stop bleeding if in excess.

Hope this helps
