What Causes Preprandial Fatigue And Tiredness When Diagnosed With Cervical Spondylitis?

default
Posted on Tue, 3 Nov 2015
Question: I am working in a factory and my diet time is fixed. Generally the diet is mostly on time. Recently since two years I am experiencing empty stomach feeling just before my lunch and dinner. This was happening occasionally, since one month regularly. Even after eating food this is continues for some time. During this time I experience a kind of fatigue and tiredness and after some time this will become alright. I have minor cervical spondylitis , however I am not physically experiencing the effect of this as of now. I consulted doctors and taking medicine before food , but generally not completely relieved. Please suggest me, what is next.

Brief Answer:
Pre-prandial fatigue,tiredness -?hypoglycemic symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
It seems you are having hypoglycemic symptoms (fatigue , tiredness) on empty stomach before lunch and dinner.Since the symptoms subside following meals, this points towards hypoglycemia. Do your blood sugar before lunch and two hours after lunch and similarly before dinner and two hours after dinner. This will clarify the issue and further investigation can be decided.
What medicine you are taking before food?
Amacard AT contains Amlodipine and Atenolol
Atenolol itself can cause hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia.
