What Causes Pinkish Vaginal Discharge?

Question: Hi ive just gone to the toilet and noticed a thick big pinkish sort of tissue clot on my pad. Just wondering if its normal and what it is?

Hi I've started my period today, I'm on the pill and sexually active using condoms, and I have no bleeding or spotting after intercourse.
