Question: I am 45 years old. My Husband had a vasectomy 13 years ago after our last child. My last period was in August. I had a horrible headache for a week in September. Last month I had slight pink tinged mucus for a day. This week I had symptoms as if I ovulated. Now I have l have dull aching on left side like before I ovulated. What could all of this be.

Brief Answer:
This could be the onst of menopause!

Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.

I have reviewed your information fully. The first thing I would like to stress on is that you are not pregnant. Seen your age, menopause may be around the corner. This often starts with menstrual irregularities before ever seizing completely.

For now, I will like you to manage your symptoms accordingly. For the pains, take Tylenol or motrin. If there are any other worries, then we would look into them. There is no need to seek further medical attention at this time. If you do experience any new symptoms, let me know and together we would take a look to see what else could be going on.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
