Question: hey so i have had these pimples on my penis about 3 of them they popped out about 2 weeks ago and i did have sex prior to them popping out like 3 days before but i also shaved before sex as well and in a hurry i have had no pain of any kind no itch no symptoms of herpes etc so i dont think its that but i would like some advice note i do see hair growing out under the pimples like a piece of hair and i havent shaved in the past two weeks either any suggestions would be helpful
I have uploaded 7 images of the pimples there are only three as you can see one on top which is kinda flattened out now is because i squeezed it before and the skin kinda came off and now the new skin is coming out on that small area all these pimples are small not that big at all and no pain/itch or any symptoms of any kind also as i was taking the pictures as i mentioned before i did see a hair coming out of the pimple like a long hair so I honestly think it could be the ingrown hair situation but you can probably tell by looking at the pics last night before going to bed i applied some witch XXXXXXX and this morning after shower i applied neosporin (i will try neosporin 2-3 times a day and see if it goes away) let me know what you think please.
The pics i attached might not be clear but this is the best my camera can do and also to point out i literally see a hair like an inch long hair coming out from the pimples if that is any help and it's just white pus looking pimple with like red layer around it a very very small layer of redness around it

Brief Answer:
Molluscum contagiousum:removal by cauterization with radio-frequency

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the eruptions. The pictures are quite clear to guide you best regarding your condition.

After thoroughly analyzing the pictures I can get that you have Molluscum contagiousum.

To tell you simply about these: It is a type of viral infection caused by molluscum contagiosum virus. It appears as a simple whitish bead and when fully formed mimics a pearl like whitish bump with central indentation in it.

It is totally asymptomatic condition and never cause any discomfort except for itching some times rarely. It is commonly seen after an unprotected or protected sexual intercourse or sometime without this thing also due to skin to skin contact.

Let me reassure you that this one of the simplest viral condition and can be treated very easily. It requires simple removal by cauterization with radio-frequency. You can meet a dermatologist and get it treated completely.

I hope this information will help you. I will be glad to guide you any further.

Brief Answer:
Molluscum contagiousum: white bumps without of pain & irritation.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks a lot for your swift follow up.

In folliculitis : it appears as deep red bumps because it is an inflammation of the hair roots. It is always accompanied with pain and irritation with moderate discomfort because of the inflammation.

The pictures are enough for the diagnosis of Molluscum. But even then you can see that these are white bumps and are without any symptom of pain and irritation which followed after the intercourse.

I hope this information will help you. I will be glad to guide you any further.

Brief Answer:
These are not at all related to herpes so allay all your fears

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Let me reassure you again that the condition is one of the simplest and most commonly seen sexually transmitted infection. It never causes any problem except for the new eruptions over the previous one and the eruptions itself.

These are not at all related to herpes so allay all your fears regarding the same.

The molluscum lesions either subsides as self or requires removal by cautery as explained before. These can vanish off by itself but it takes time and new one can form near existing one.

SO do not get worried at all and relax. The removal requires only few minutes and is one of the simplest procedure which I do routinely.

I hope this information will help you. I will be glad to guide you any further.
