What Causes Pimple-like Growth In Ear?
Question: Hi doctor,
I just noticed this red pimple like mark on the outside of my ear and I was just wondering if its serious and if I should get it checked out by my local GP. It does not seem to hurt or anything and it had a bit of dry blood when I wiped it with a tissue, plus there was a bit of wax surrounding it. Thank you for your help in advance.

from the picture this can be a small bruise or small local infection which would normally heal itself. However, a irregular mole can't be 100% ruled out by the pic. Because of that i suggest showing it to your local gp or dermatologist soon to make sure.

Yeah I will definitely clear it up next time I see the doctor, but I have noticed it isn't as red now and mainly black but it does get itchy sometimes. Would it be best just to leave it be or use some sort of antiseptic cream to help heal it?
