Brief Answer:
Please provide some more information

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your question.

I understand your concern.
In order so I can give a more accurate answer, I would need some more information about your pain.

Where in your head is this pain localized?
Has it been constant during these 2 weeks or it stopped sometimes? Did it stop you from sleeping?
How strong is it from 0-10?
Have you tried any medication so far?
Any other symptom?

Please kindly let me know about these questions and I will be happy to advise accordingly.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako

Red flags to keep in mind for the headache

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thank you for the follow-up question and the information provided.

I will give my opinion supported on the information I have.

-- The fact that it doesn't affect your sleep is a good sign. Although what I needed to know also is if the pain ever stops or is continuous.
If it is continuous then you need to worry about it and seek the help of a local neurologist.
If it comes and goes, and if it gets reliveed by normal analgesics like Ibuprofen, then it is a pain to not worry about. Try taking a painkiller, and if the pain is better then continue using them from time to time, as needed.
The fact that you dont have other symptoms is reassuring that it may be nothing serious. But still you will need a neurological exam so a doctor can check if you have tenderness around the ear while on touch (sometimes that type of headache can give loss of vision), if you have neurological signs that only a doctor can recognize.

So to summarize, my advise would be that you try using a painkiller and if better then perfect. If not better, check for tenderness around your ear and on the temples-if positive go imediately see a doctor. If not, wait for some time and if after 2 weeks the pain is not better, its again recommended to see a local doctor for the reasons mentioned above.

Hope this is helpful.
