Brief Answer:
Video EEG/Psychiatric consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hi Lilmiss,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.

Video EEG can be of help in distinguishing Pseudoseizures from true seizures.Though as you described, they appear to be Pseudoseizures.

I can understand the mental trauma, you are being through and in this scenario, a Psychiatrist rather than a Neurologist can be of bigger help.

Hope that helps.I shall be glad to have you in follow-up if you have any further questions.

Brief Answer:
That statement indirectly goes for Pseudoseizure.

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxx
Thanks for being in follow-up.

'seizing but my brain is telling my body to seize'--this statement indirectly says about Pseudoseizure. A video EEG will be of better value in this regard. Further, if diagnosed as Pseudoseizure, psychiatrist's opinion will be of help.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

Why are they call fake seizures when I get warning, I'll fall on the floor and go into a seizure, I even stop breathing sometimes. I have slurred speech, sometime wet ny self or throw up. but all in all they hurt and I have no control of them. my heads and mouth, finger and feet, hurt. I feel ive been hit by a truck. It that normal for a fake seizure I have control of it.

Brief Answer:
Needs a Psychiatric opinion.

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxx,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

The pattern which you described is suggestive of a Pseudoseizure. It won't be true to call 'Pseudoseizure' a 'fake activity'. We can say it as a Psychogenic seizure for a better terminology rather than a 'fake seizure'.

It may have a significant psychological trigger.Your psychological triggers may not be under your control. That's why I insisted on a video EEG and a Psychiatrist's opinion.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up else please close the thread, rate it and write a review.
