Question: What would good exercises and stretches be do deal with chondromalacia patella? I have had knee pain for about 7 years, through my own research and through this site I have been told I might have it.

It is best to perform Quadriceps strengthening exercises, VMO strengthening, hamstring stretching exercises, and knee ROM exercises.

Avoid squatting, cross leg sitting, climbing stairs and kneeling as much as possible.

Non-loading exercises like swimming, aerobics and static cycling are preferrable to treadmill.
