Brief Answer:
yeast or other infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
There are many things that cause itching around the rectum and scrotum. The most common one would be a fungal (yeast) infection. There are many anti-fungal creams that you can try that you can buy at the pharmacy. The names of some are terbenifine, nystatin, ketoconazole, and miconazole. I would try this type of cream first applying it to the areas affected twice a day until it is resolved. If this does not get rid of the itching you may need to see a doctor for evaluation for other infections or skin conditions that may be causing the itching
