Brief Answer:
Cough may last for 3-4 days

Detailed Answer:
HI XXXXXXX .

Greeting from Dr. Divakara.P

First of all thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic for posting your query.

Within first 2 doses of Flu medicine only the patient will become non infective. So your daughter is non infectious by now.

Cough may take few more days ( 3-4 days ) if it is only due to H1N1. So if the cough persists even after 4 days revisit your doctor as there could be a super added bacterial infection of throat , in that case she requires one course of Antibiotics also.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .

HI

I had told in my previous reply that after the first 2 dose of medicines the patient will become non infective. So your daughter is non infectious by now. That means she will not pass on the infection to others.

Brief Answer:
Not 100% safe.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Your wife can take Vaccine once she is free from fever after competing her medicines for Typhoid.

Regarding protection from H1N1 , the vaccine doesn't give 100% protection from the infection. This is because the vaccine is prepared from the previous years's H1N1 virus and not the present H1N1 virus. This H1iN1 virus changes itself every year , so getting 100% protection may not be possible.

Hope this information was useful to you.

Brief Answer:
Wait for 2-3 days to start non veg.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Wait for 2-3 days more . Let her cough go away completely. Then you can start Non veg food .

Yes you have been either not infected or your body has taken care of the virus . NO you are not carrier of Virus as virus if present in the body will cause symptoms .

So you can go to office from tomorrow itself.

Hope this information was useful to you.

Brief Answer:
There is no fever.

Detailed Answer:
HI

She does not have temperature , don't worry. There will be difference of 1 degree Farenheit in temerature measure under arm and over head. So no need for any medication for your daughter.

Ambrolyte S Syrup is for wet cough while Reswas is for Dry Cough, if she is having dry cough then she can use Reswas.

Hope this information was useful to you.
